What a great car!
Being so original; my '76 looks pretty much the same, but it's so far from orignal..

The door mirrors are of a different model, maybe part of the swedish specs? Just like the B14.0S engine.

The 6 digit odometer + the year code HC states it must be MY 77. (or do I start a giant discussion with this?)

Yes, the door mirrors are Swedish spec, and you are right, it is absolutely a '77 MY car.

Yes, I have one of those in my '77 too. RJ, you probably haven't looked hard enough in the leather pouch inside the spare wheel for yours, all cars destined to have the black hubcaps should have them :)
