I just heard about the car a week ago. I did check on it and the scrap yard will not sell any parts, they want to sell the entire car for a crazy price ($ 1,400.00).
The car is located about 350 miles from me so it is difficult to just pop over to see what condition it is in.

No idea what that Green car was Dai (Classic 1950's Yank Tank of some sort), but it is no longer there.
