Textbook designing if so and proof it was as a good shell as you thought.

Ouch! That was a fair impact! Looks to have protected you well though, as Chris has said - the cockpit looks quite straight! Did the drivers door open alright post-crash?

Saddening, I've always liked this saloon. But atleast nobody was hurt, I'm sure Andy'll pull anything useful off it anyway

She died well, protecting her occupants.

I would be looking for another saloon, they are rare and likley will need restored, but at least you have good doors and probably intact 360 drive train. Strip it and chop it up for repair sections aswell.

Good thing that you were in 360, any french from that era or Ford etc. They would have been much worse, some cars did not have even headrests, so it could of been much worse.

Interesting really how rear light clusters seems to be intact minus reversing light lenses, sometimes in crashes bits are unharmed unlike one would think, but also sometimes bits get broken which one would think never should get broken, shock force travels trough body bit unpredictable way.

Best thing is that you live to have another 300 series car and someone else is (hopefully) paying it

Utterly perfect passenger area! Such a shame a nice shell died but I'd much rather see pics of a mangled car than a mangled Pettaw. She died saving you, looks like it was a biggie! Pleased you're OK bud.
