I'm working from memory here, but 1mm is in my mind

i've ordered a new carb, because it would cost me 1/3 of the price of the carb just to buy a rebuild kit.

You may not need the rebuild kit, you just need to find out what is wrong with it. Most carb rebuild parts are never needed unless the car has done alot of miles. It may not be the carb. You can usually reuse the gaskets etc.

I didn't know you could still get the carbs, how much was it?

total of £229 with shipping aswell, in my case i think its the carb, i noticed last time i had it stripped, that most of the gaskets weren't holding up that good.

I called Renault, and they say that the air ristrictor Hose is not in production anymore, anyone got an idea of where to get it or how to replace it with something else?

The information is already in the thread, a bit of rolled paper, some plastic tubing with 1mm hole its not high tech.

I've stated that the reduction is still in the pipe, and its still running bad after a clean and new gasket, so now im fitting the new Carb tomorrow

timing slipped?
valve not closing properly/bad adjustment/thrown rod? them tappets sound wayyyyyy loose......

fitting a new carb solved the problem so im all good now
