Nice clean build, the earlier front splitter looks good on that car.

I thought so too .The MKIII version of the spoiler is a bit to big imo...but if it had been that one I would have taken it anyway 8)

What I like about this build is that it could almost have come from the factory that way.

Considdering the parts I used you could be wright Dai. Most of these parts where also available in the 80´s.So why not build the car.I think that it would not have been a car that would sell a lot after all,the 300 serie's where initally build for a kind of conservative buyers.I don't think Volvo wanted a toy car in its range. With the knowledge we have now its easy to say that they might have been wrong on that. But cars like the 363CS or the BlackBeauty based 2litre 16V(By Denzel)could have been direct hits en would have given the 300 series a realy big imageboost. On the other hand....there where over a million build.....................I guess they didn't realy need a car like that to sell the 300 series.

I met a man a few mounths ago who actually testet both cars for Volvo(the 363CS and the BB 2L16V).We couldn't talk about it that time because we both where a tight scedule that day.But I've got an invitation to come back and he promissed me to have som intresting facts and stories about the 2 cars.So I hope to see him soon.................

Great work sir. I have a set of those sill trims on the banana. They work well.
I also like the way you have worked your volts gauge into the dash clocks :D
Cheers Mark.

That sounds like a thing not to turn down. A few years ago I met the chap who was running the GrpA 300 in the UK Lombard RAC, very interesting conversation.
