@ Jeroen: indeed, it's got only the 'injection' badge.

What about the fuel consumption of this 'old man's rocket'? :)

I'd like to add things like electrical windows and central locking, but I first need to find me a supplier for these parts. Any other great ideas for nice features?

Where can I find out the differences between 360, GL, GLT and GLE?

tnx!

@ Thijs: Fuel consumption is just as bad as any other 360. 1:10 average is possible when you don't push it. 1:12 on highways, 1:8 on city roads.
Most of the differences for dutch 360's can be found on the Dutch Volvo 300 Club site.

@Jeroen: think I'll have a hard time not to push it... but I'll see:)

I bought myself a snowcap and a front spoiler for my 360 (25 euros in total), picked them up tonight. When I arrived at home, I got a phonecall that my 360 GL is finally ready! Life's good;)

I'll pick it up tomorrow, first thing in the morning

Yep, that's what I thought!

And only 10 km's away from here. Got an extra middle-part for the spoiler as well; life's great;)

Expect lots of pics tomorrow. Too bad I'm leaving town for a week, now I can't drive it...:(

Before mounting the snowcap...

No rear spoiler yet, hopefully within a couple of weeks

...and after mounting the snowcap

Mounting the snowcap was really an easy job, I haven't been able yet to mount the front spoiler, at least not the 2 small parts. I'll take care of that later, when it's not raining...

Lovely car!
The bourgondy paintjob and beige interior is a great combination!
I'm not sure if the rear spoiler was an option on the MK 2 cars. I think the original MK2 car had a smaller spoiler. Not sure though...
It will look good on a MK2 360, no doubt about that!

You can get those grey bumpers black/dark grey again by using lineseed oil (gekookte lijn(zaad)olie. Use it a couple of times and they will stay black a little longer every time.

Have fun with it and dont forget to clean out the edge of the wheelarches to prevent it from rusting.

Oops, the classic look of the bourgondy, beige and chrome mislead me.

Yep. Bodycoloured bumpers were an option here. Only GLT's came in standard with color coded bumpers. :P

I was planning to treat the bumpers with that stuff, but I found out that the local paint store is closed until next week.

Thanks for the hint, I'll check the wheel arches tomorrow.

I need to fix a couple of other things too; the adjustment button for the back support (=>lendesteun) in the driver seat has broken.

The left mirror makes a lot of wind noise, starting at about 70/80 km/h. Hope I can do something about that.

I'm still not sure about the rear spoiler, maybe I should look for a smaller one.
