For crying out loud.....

Rich, I think you've spent too much time in the land of the bogs and the little people. Don't worry, it is curable, even I managed to get through it (although having escaped after 2 years I still seem to have formed a weird attachment to a Kerry girl that has lasted 18 years....)

I use a photocopied service sheet with the boxes de-ticked for my S80. I print off a blank one and fill it in every time I give it a service. Is this fraud? Am I guilty of fabrication? No, I'm just showing that whilst the car doesn't go to a main dealer it still gets looked after according to the manufacturers recommendations. The new owner of this car is presumably trying to do the same.

If I go out and buy another car that doesn't have an owners manual am I forbidden from acquiring one?
If it has a service history and I wish to continue looking after it should I be precluded from adhering to proving I follow the manufacturers standards?

Mac is the document you're after a ring binder about A5 size? I think I've got one of those, will have come from a 1987 or 1989 340. You're welcome to it if it is any use to you/the next owner.

Hi Alex, not sure what the ring binder is (the only thing I can think of is that "Peter Russek" did an A5 pocket workshop manual)
Thanks for the offer but it's specifically an 84 drivers handbook and service book (service book was cheque book shaped) that I'm looking for.

Cheers - Mac.

I have an A reg 360 that might have one in it. (think A reg is around 84 but when the flipped the letter to the wrong side I get confused with model years  )

I should be going to where that car is sometime this week and will have a look then
