Am I to understand that the non arrival of parts purchased from "derskine", and promptly paid for, is a common jolly jape?

Does he have a record of arranging shipping to aquire a tracking number and then cancelling (as he seems to have done in my case)?

Is it usual for him not to reply to concerns from his "customers"?

As he has not communicated, he may of course met with misfortune, or gone into estivation, or indeed may have entered his moulting cycle - I don't know - BUT, I would rather like to know why he cancelled the courier pick up on my carb - and I would rather like to know why he has chosen not to share such snippets with me.

Churlish of me to mention (which I will do anyway) but if he is playing the naughty boy it does rather colour my decisions to assist others on this forum - which I have occasionally been known to do.

So, come on derskine, be a good chappie and let us all know what's happening!

Mac.

Things do arrive, Mac - they're just a few months behind schedule.

Yes, I think he should reply to keep you in the picture - acts of civil hostilities, ionising radiation, etc. - excepted.

(Personally, I can't help thinking that this parcel might have befell the curse of Yodel.)

Funnily enough I had the same issue buying some C Pillar vents via eBay a few months back, now I've cross referenced the usernames. It only got resolved via eBay dispute in the end.

Paid by PayPal 31-07-2015

Only contact has been a cancelled tracking number.

It's now the 18-08-2015,

The "seller" remains silent.

I'm now irritated - could somebody please PM me Daniels address and I'll get the ball rolling.

I will not be fucked with!
Mac.

Hey Mac if you paid as goods or services on PayPal (you should always do this I found out the hard way) then you can get PayPal involved too.

Sending the boys round usually results in prompt payment.

Hi Mac,

if you do get PayPal involved don't leave it too late ... I only ever had one negative experience on V3M, I left it too late and the money was gone.

Mac, I don't think I have Daniel's postal address - I have looked at the Hermes label that came with the springs he sent me a couple of weeks ago. However, having been next to my 360 in the back garden and therefore a bit wet, I regret (and seriously jest not) that the label has been chewed away by.... vermin.

Perhaps a grub around on one of his "other" forums (buysellcortina or mk1 Golf club) or even Farcebook might prove amusing but he certainly is being a little quiet on here.

Either there is "genuine" reason for his actions/non actions (in which case I apologise if I do him a disservice) or somebody is being a scrote and needs a meaningful discussion.

PM rec'd .

A quick post on Autoshite and Daniel has got straight back to me with a full explanation.
I have every expectation that the problem is in process of resolution.

A mollusk less grumpy.
