Quite simple exactly. Drilling the wholes was a bit scary. But i protected everything against rust. There's only a lot of dirty grease inside the doors near the hinges. Connecting the wires was very simple :D I did not expect that i would have gone so easily. That was also because the original Volvo instructions came with the mirror.

could you scan those instructions?

why did you have to drill a hole? the wiring should just fit through the door?

I'll try to scan them for you but it may take a wihile beacause i have a really crappy scanner.

The wiring loom is too thick for the little funnel between the door and the car. I even doubt if the wiring for the leccy windows will fit trought there. The instructions also say you have to drill a hole.

in the car i used to have, all of them were thru there (mirrors, windows, and speakers). i agree you cant get the connectors through - perhaps they were added later?

The central locking also goes trough there. I think i'll take the connectors off when installing the windows.

right, i'm driving across the country (well along the south coast) on fri evening, if anyone wants these now is the time to ask. £40, plus petrol costs (14p/mile, my carb is fucked and i only get 250 miles out of a tank at the mo) if its a long way off my course..

4 good tyres. 1 not so good, couple of centre caps. rare. lmk.
