I don't expect to have a car by next week, so I just don't think I'm going to be able to make this one

Yo! I'm coming to Uxbridge at the weekend. Can I call that gearbox/diff as a spare for my collection, and if Steve decides he wants it, I'll drop it off at his place. What dya want for it?
cheers
James

You must have been quite near Milton Keynes when it happened , Colin (the pick up owner ) lives in Northampton and works at MK , if it was Tuesday evening I would guess he was on his way to his night shift.

its not hard to replace that sort of thing - solamanda has done it a couple of times, just pull the whole rear end off another car and fit it.
you're more than welcome to strip whatever you want off snowey, but it needs to have your one put back on instead
where are ya based again? sure someone can give you a lift to the meet if you want..

or, if you fancy, you can have leah? her prop is a bit dodgy (but works), and she's got mot till dec. you could run her for a bit, then take the diff off and bolt it to your 360. advantage is the diff ratio would make your 360 faster

foggyjames, I'd want a fair bit as there is a risk I might actually need it one day, not thought about it though.
SteveP - If you need advice on the job I have done it (counts in head...), 4 times, ask me on msn

Steve, really sorry to hear about the car. Sounds like you did well to control it and avoided a nasty accident. What a PITA. Hope things are sorted soon.
