I take it the 6500 rpm rev limit is due to the 400 ecu.

no, I run an omex 500 mappable ecu, 6500 seemed reasonable at the time

We both seem to need a 6 speed box. I'll be gutted if it only does a 135 top as my brothers 240GLT will do that with only an exaust and air filter.

I really do need to wind it up and find out what it will do.

Today it goes up to 5400rpm in 5th gear, something like 193km/h real speed! 200+ in the tacho!
