Try different keys, specially on the worn-out drivers door. After borrowing my car to a friend, he called me the ignition-lock blocked and he could not start the car.

We had a laugh after discovering he got into my car with his VW-Key, which could open the door, but not the ignition.

I stopped laughing when I discovered I could open the door as well with the key of my appartment, my office, my fuel-cap and with some fiddling even with a screwdriver....

So, my suggestion is, get all the keys you can find and give it a go.

Had my Redline raided for the brand new (gift from spouse) CD player. They jemmied the door frame on the passenger side with a piece of wood and popped the lock up. Then swiped said player leaving a bent door. However, my friendly bodyshop man just popped it back into shape usong just knee, thigh and hands. Wound the window down out of arms way first. Despite CIS fingerprints etc, police no cachum.

For a moment I thought that was some sort of gunk-dunk stand at a village fair (shows that I'm a country bumpkin), and the residents of MK were going to get their payback towards 'that man and his lights' sm56

cheers
