It helps in the wet but he can drift it in the dry at a push with the limited power; hammered a new set of yokohama tyres in under 500miles
Also managed to break the five link setup last night (was dry), not the actual links but where the panhard rod meets the chassis. It tore the mount off along with part of the chassis where it was welded to!
Goes to show how much load is on the mountings in the dry. Fixed it today by boxing that section with steel plate to reinforce it.
Still that's what testing it for!

that's some impressive roundabout footage in the volvo

, from seeing how low the volvo is, does your bro's car ever have trouble getting over speed bumps?
cheers

My old 1.4 was crazy. I think the fact that I didnt mind if I broke it helped, plus I used to drive to work at 7 in the morning - so lots of empty roundabouts!!
Chris - if you ever speak to Rupert in the motor club, ask him about my 340 antics

I think Chris Knott also saw me getting up to n-good in my one event in the 340!
My old 360 was fun on the loose stuff (mud, gravel etc). In fact it was incredibly stable at the same time - I remember out running a notoriously fast mate in a 309 GTi on a muddy, bouncy track during one road rally. He was very impressed!
