Yeah I was originally going to cut down the glt springs but they're just as soft, these feel pretty damn stiff just from pushing it down and moving the car off the driveway, think its probably due to the coils being so compressed with the heavier engine so for it to move now the coils have to be really compressed, *just* got away without having to clamp the springs to the cups too as the ARB pulls the strut up just enough to nip the spring in place,
cheers

It depends really on the ride height i want etc. Its currently at 325 i think how easy would it be to get it to 310? And will the springs need clamping!! Also what rating do you reckon?
Cheers Adam
Well its taken me since lunchtime but i've finally got the rear done too, bit of a b*stard job, rounded one bolt and had to cut it off and then cut another two bolts in half with the grinder to get them out without removing the driveshafts as the bolts on the driveshafts were so damn tight! All sorted though and very pleased with the results.....£47 for dampers, 40p for bolts and the rest all made from bits in the garage:

310 is quite possible will need clamping but that is very easy to do - Take a look at vickys. I would put 180lbs springs on for your 1.4.
How much will i owe you then??? Hmm it will be consult the pennies that decides!!!! If only it was next month!!! Can you supply the clamps mate??
Cheers Adam
That looks tight! I really prefer that to most of the mesh's that have been made, they always look a tad vacant, but that looks great with the slash. I'm fed up of driving Fake on a standard grill now
