Radio 4 and classic, I always need to be very mellow!!

I tend to listen to whatever station the radio feels like stopping at! In London it picks up loads of those natty little stations, out here (over them thar hills etc) I get on average 3 (Radio 1,2, & classic fm!) though sometimes none, sometimes several more.

Consequently I listen to my own music when driving about. I've been doing one (a tune) tonight whilst waiting to see if anyone can identify a radiator. I'm calling it 'Running Late' for now. Anyone curious enough to listen can do so at

Wave 105 for me lately too, but listened to Radio 2 on the way back to the island today, and found a sweet as jazz program, and a new CD I now want. Consider all you radio two peeps all blamed

BBC London as long as I'm near London!

When I get a new head unit I'll listen to it in the 360 too!

ARROW CLASSIC ROCK for the win!

It's a dutch station but I can get it most of the time on 675MW. Sadly I haven't got a clue what the djs are saying, but the non-stop selection of TOP rock music beats all other stations by far. And unlike Radio 1, they don't have a playlist of 5 songs which are relentlessly repeated all day. We listen to Arrow in the vans at work all day and you're lucky if you hear the same song more than once in a day!

If you have a fast enough connection, go to http://www.arrow.nl/rock/ and click on "Luister nu naar Arrow Classic Rock" in the top right of the screen to get amongst the non-stop classic hits.

Apart from that, I occasionally listen to Radio 2 and thare's a good country music show on BBC Cambridge on Sundays, but I usually go straight for my CDs.

Hey, funny that you listen to that... Me too sometimes...

I've voted for Virgin Radio It's the only one I can get in Belgium Bad sound quality and only in the evening / night, (MW, 1215 Khz) I liked it years ago but now it's FAR too commercial, the advertisements make me crazy, commercial music also...

Pure FM is my favourite radio at the moment in Belgium. (listen live: http://www.rtbf.be/rtbf_2000/radios/pure128.m3u) For very good rock classic tracks, I listen to Classic 21 ( http://www.classic21.be/rtbf_2000/radios/21128.m3u) The 2 links purpose a very good sound quality

Me too! Radio 4 addict for the last twenty years. It was great when I used to be employed in a workshop and could listen to 197LW on a Bakelite steam radio all day long. Can't have a radio in the office, grrr.

Sometimes the tuner gets shuffled down to Radio 3. Maybe ventures as far as Radio 2 if Mark Lamarr is doing one of his reggae things, or for Humphrey Lyttelton.

Oh, and Planet Rock on DAB can be quite good...

Old fart!!! Hahahaha 23 is no age sir!! However I'm an Archers adict for some unknown reason. The chat and debates keep my heart rate down to a steady 45 bpm and my blood pressure really strong, I always find after a session in the car listening to radio 4 you get very relaxed, however the MD player comes in handy for loud tunes, ie RAMMSTEIN!!! and a LITTLE bit of Dance Music when driving hard or running late
