I've been looking out for the guy to talk to him about it, but havent seen him. TBH I've lost any interest in talking to him now though - my rage has subsided!! Unless I'm angry I dont tend to confront people

On the plus side the tailgate had a bit of rust anyway on the inside lip and I've hopefully found a good one in Milton Keynes for £40.

I know what you mean about confronting people when angry. I've often thought about things afterwards and decided it could have been dodgy, especially in today's society, where you're likely to get knifed or something atfer confronting muppets and standing my ground. Still, just go and look at the damage, think about the cost, the down right cheek of them leaving the scene, the anger will return!
