but the fish would know which is which and if you dont call it by its correct name it would (and quite rightly so ) be very insulted .
It would be a bit like me calling you foggy and that would never do !!!!
also if you use the wrong name how can you expect it to obey commands like swim and float etc !!!
No I am sorry Dave it just will not do !!!
after all as Patrick McGoohan used to say in the prisoner ,
"Unlike me, many of you have accepted the situation of your imprisonment, and will die here like rotten cabbages.
I am not a number, I am a free fish "

Surely then the ideal solution is to call them both the same thing, and so reduce confusion...

definition of a radical goldfish
One that swims anticlockwise around the bowl just because he can
Dead Goldfish
Little Nancy was in the garden filling in a hole when her neighbour peered over the fence. Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was up to, he politely asked, "What are you doing there, Nancy?"
"My goldfish died," replied Nancy tearfully without looking up, "and I've just buried him." The neighbour was very concerned. "That's an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn't it?"
Nancy patted down the last heap of dirt then replied, "That's because he's inside your fucking cat."
ok , I will get my coat

One fish tank with a dwindling number of cardinal and black neon tetra, plus a pair of corydoras.
Mrs C has a Nintendog called Saffy. She's a golden retriever

(it's the best we can do in a flat where they don't allow dogs).
Chris_C wrote:Erm, havn't any pics here, as they are one the island, but we have puffer fish and red belly piranha, as well as another 10-15ish tanks in the garage.
