Hi. I'm afraid it is a very long way, especially if you have only driven in the Newcastle area.
Would it be possible to get it transported at a reasonable cost? Does anyone know people who transport cars economically? Help!

Maybe one of either of your friends has work/family/friends in the other area and could take the car one way and get the train back? Worth asking some friends.

Assuming you have a friendly person who will do the driving (and lend a suitable car for free), you can transport a car for about £50 for a trailer, plus petrol/diesel money. Alternatively, a door to door service on a lorry is about £150-200...probably overkill for this sort of car.

Sven & Bilbo our resident rally-heads are in Newcastle and always seem to have lots of space...perhaps they could store the car temporarily?

I could free park the car at office car park, or parking outside of my friend's house for a while.

It need transfer the ownership etc. It has 5 working days left for transaction.

It is too expensive to deliver by door to door, or via trailer plus petrol.
