LMAO, you dirty dirty man!

Back on topic... if you wanna keep up to date with the boys, as well as the Himalayan Drive website you can also look at http://www.plett.co.uk/himalayandrive/ for up-to-date text messages from Nick and Chris - slightly more tongue in cheek (if a little breif) compared to the official website

Ello everybody! Very very quick post, am in Iran in a 5* hotel, we got through the prague effort a day or two before the gumball and czeck recks guys, so we have been lucky so far with borders.

Rover holding up well, even though I kinda put it in a ditch... but all is well, and some locals helped pull it out and them forced us to hve luch with them! Amazing scenary out here, but bloody tiring, averaging over 500k's a day. Did manage 80ish on a stretch of gravel... Nick was a whiter shade than normal ;)

You need to experience the driving over here... undertaking on an unsurfaced A road on a blind bend anyone? Thats the good guys... Still, seems the way to cope is to mirror and blend in, Nick seems to go white when I do that too.... :P He says I'm a hooligan... ah well

See you soon,

Chris and Nick

(btw, as well as being in 5* hotels quite a lot, I paid 4 times as much for a steak today as for 30litres of petrol. Ok, so its like gnats p*ss... but 2 dollars?!?!?!

Sounds really great :D

It must feel like real adventure to go all those places and sounds like traffic is almost like mountain roads in Italy :P

Good luck for rest of journey, sounds like some is needed with that traffic, remember to take tons of pics so we can drool our keyboards wet when you return ;)

It is a proper adventure, its really strange how different everwhere is, its all blending together all ready, but we have been making a daily log. Will explain proper when I get back. Just can't get over how different neighbouring countries are, sometimes town no more than 10m apart are completely different, and you can see how tourism changes an area. Still lots of piccies so far, and some video. And then best bits to come.

Nicks on my shoulder, and just mentions how different the border towns are to the main countries, the first 10miles in are completely diferent to the rest of it. Anyway, best go and get some kip, 10:00 here, beddy byes time, getting up at silly o clock.

See you on the 30th ish!
