I've already got a shift indicator. I would not mind a oil presure gauge or something unualsual.

Would this work in a car which doesn't have the 6 gauge dash already? Or would it all the gauges have to be wired up to work?

Simple answer is yes , I did it with some help from Pete Farrell

cables are usually there for ambient temp gauge coiled up under the air filter iirc, then you connect to the temp sender which plugs into drivers side bumper mounting horn ,

econometer requires a length of tube between it and a t piece you need to put in the small pipe to the carb base , there is a instruction leaflet on here somewhere probably in the technical section

Yes, you can fit the gauges to a car that hasn't had them before, but you'll need an ambient temp sensor and wire, and correct tubing for the econo meter. I'm not sure if Andi is including these or not...

Look in the Technical Resources & information section for fitting instructions, which may clear things up :)

EDIT: Why is everyone beating my postings tonight ;)

If you didnt know, you can get a temp sensor from a 480 with an info centre - Chris_C may have one spare in this case as he's breaking a 480....
