-is that the hose leading from the carb to the air filter housing? mine perished once, and i wondered why i could never get the replacement to work properly- in the end a mechanic just blocked off the pipe near the carb, and car seems to work fine!srtames wrote:You can make a restrictor from a piece of plastic tubing that has a 0.1 inch hole and is a push fit in the rubber hose.
