If I wanted one...

1) For the look. That little weight reduction would make barely any difference unless you were doing more panels. Far cheaper ways of going faster.

2) Stock appearance

3) Option of both. Probably hinged. It if *were* for weight reduction, I'd do it non-backed on pins, for maximum effect.

4) CF....I'd only do it for the look.

5) If I wanted one I'd have to pay what it costs...probably £500-600 with a backing frame like the OE one. I could say "I'd pay £50", but it's kinda silly saying that, as that simply wouldn't happen. it'd cost more than that in materials for FG, never mind CF. If I wouldn't pay what it costs (probably circa FG: £150-200, CF: £400-600), I wouldn't have one.
