DOH! Bet you wish the sticker was still on the tyres now from that photo! That sucks. It seems as though they're very hot on such things as non original tyre sizes etc in other countires than the UK.

Do you not have the original wheels to go back on for the test?

yeah but they have bald tyres too
so might as well use the wheels of a car that will need them later.
but the cost is gettin high this car musent cost more than its worth at the moment i bugeted 600euros so my dad will have to pay for this set of tyres as it his for his car anyway
but dont worrie about my money i will always have enough for those engine mounts coz there important.
i find it sooo stupid that i have to buy new tyres for no reason , There is 1% difference on the speed shown on speedo your allowed 10...well in england any way.

You'd actually buy new tyres to pass the MOT? Just get yourself some wheels from a wrecking yard that have acceptable tyres..

aahhh good idea but they must be right size thats the problem
thats possible though

What's up with date? There surely is no such date in our calendar
Car looks good
I think that I have never had problem with tires in MOT as I change them well before I must, it is dangerous to have under 3mm thread left. So I get bit of money from old tires as they work at least one summer for someone still and that way don't even pay more and still am at safe side, who is clever again

Oh, wrong size, hmm, 55 and 195-15? Maybe failed because of load rating? Should not be other valid reason.
We can have pretty many sizes here, some require just that they are written up, costs bit more, but surely these rules are different in different places.
Really stupid law that sounds, imo, of course stupid laws are not possible only here
Hehe, your camera has some bugs in software indeed (29/2/07 is not valid date, software should not allow that), well that is not important and what is best, does not affect MOT

the tyres are 185 55 14 and the mot guys says they must be 185 60 14
as its rules, Note there is only 1% speedo difference which is totally legal but not in france it seams as they dont obay european rules.

Hmmm...how did you buy wrong tyres

?
I guess you looked at the Volvo manual before buying them, but how could this happen ? Or there was the difference between new and the old rims ( just guessing ) ?
I agree that tyres cost the most of that. Can You sell them or mount them or your Renault 5 instead, and buy new ones ?
Engine sound like brand new in the clip. Good job repairing. But your " seat belt indicator" blinks ?? Oh well, i think my electronic in Volvo is in a mess.
Many things doesn't work as they should...even the reverse lights show one fog light and stop light instead of the white ones

...Man there will go my savings ( when i earn them )
And that date....funny February has 28 days this year

. 29th day is in the fallowing year.
