My 360 has just started to rattle a bit to, loads when cold and quietens down when she warms up . Its real noticeable under acceleration but virtually disappears when cruising . Does sound like a tappet noise though Is this fairly normal?

Sounds right, ie. tappet noise at least to some degree with older engines, but if you are hearing it mainly under load, you may want to make sure it isn't "pinging".

Pinging would be most likely happen if you are running poor grade Unleaded (like most Australian unleaded) in a leaded engine or if your engine just isn't getting enough fuel.

Yeah thats what I was a bit worried about , Been running on super unleaded which in Britain is pretty good quality I think , should be for the price anyway!! Gonna try to check them next weekend cos she runs perfect apart from that.
