Good ol' Carroll 8)

Mustang long been a favourite of mine but like
Chargers fetch telephone numbers.

Looking for the next hot item-Dodge Dart it'll only go up in value-remember you heard it here first   If that doesn't float your boat 80's small block Mustangs never cheaper bit Eurobox style complete with snowplough front spoiler but plenty of bang for ya buck.

Carl what you need is a Ford bronco fullsize 302W . 5sp man trans with 33's,soft top, on the gas.57i induction and side exit pipe 8)

Oh, sweet Eleanor... :) Not a fan of the second generation Mustangs of the '70's, the '69 year is probably the last good one before it all went downhill :(

Personally prefer the original '64 1/2 and '65 models :D

Cause when you have a mint car you don't want to drive it too much, I should know :P

All insults/jibes/jokes should be sent to Martin@... :P

My, I really need to cut down my smiley use :?

Yeah, and most of them should have been on the car!!

I'm tempted to keep some of the spares, take a few bits off the car then stick it on ebay. The rest I could save for a time when I have a bit more money to complete my plans!!

For now I'm gonna start offering a few parts seperately as I need some money to improve my cashflow!! See my other thread

Just so you know the back end isn't sagging - there's a B230 plus numerous other bits and bob's in the back causing it to sit a bit low.

The back end is actually nice and tight due to the gas dampers, normally she sits like this:

Well spotted Ronnie - didn't even think to mention that :)

Had a day off work today, so decided to treat Fioner to a wash and polish...

Not bad at all! The roof and bonnet really need a good going over with a decent polish, but ran out of time today!

Also did a few oddjobs - rear wash/wipe now works and the standard induction piping and airbox is now back on (with a K&N replacement filter). Next job is to clean the inside out, which may happen tomorrow morning.

Why is it that when you're selling a car you finally get all those jobs done you've been meaning to do for ages?!!?!

So anyone interested? Would really like to sell it to a Volvo person rather than sticking it on ebay and it ending up as someones cheap run around that gets ruined :(

Oh - as a kinda swan song we did about 400 miles in her on sunday. The Nova's suspension fell off so we were forced to take Fioner to Merthyr to get the SD1. Didn't miss a beat! Bless her.

That looks tight after a clean, and I don't normally like red 360s!

looks like im having fioner if its not already gone

thats two 360 glt's for me now :D

my white one is a bit crappy, wouldnt mind having a nice one thats been taken care of...

£300 right?

Yeah, grudgingly I'll let it go for £300 with the Hella grille and auxillary gauge panel/gauges removed. The ambient temp gauge, econometer and mk2 GLT wheels can stay with the car. Will also come with a years MoT, so a bit of a bargain IMHO!

However, the MoT isn't done yet, and once it is I'll be transferring the Fioner plate over to Pete, so it'll have a new reg number. The car will also be taxed, but that will be available seperately on a pro rata basis.

These 360's are a bitter pill to swallow-great little cars but hard to move-nowadays a 1.4 seems to fetch better money due to the cheap rent.

Hope you find a good home for 'er and how's life with a V8 treatin' ya?

Great when you wanna buy a 360, not so good when you wanna sell!! If it sells for £300 then that's only £50 more than I paid and I've done a fair bit of work on it in the last 18 months, not to mention the extra bits you get!!

The v8's been in Dads garage since I picked it up waiting for some dampers to arrive to it'll go through the MoT.

I'm borrowing the garage today to do some work on our new 205, so if things go well I'll find some time to finish the SD1 off too. So hopefully I'll be getting it back this weekend :D
