i'll email my guy and see if i can get you one. If i do, i'd be willing to swap it for a complete (700style) panel, as long as all the switches are the same as the 300 one, and that extra switch is on/off (not on/off/on, ie windows)

The switches are the same, it's just a question of design...

it was just that, on 1 pic i'd seen, it looks like the rear switches are for windows, not seats

That's it, the rear switches are for the windows on a 700 and for the seats on a 300

see, thats my point, if they are for windows on a 740, then they are the wrong sort of switch to be used for a 340's seats!

Of course, you have to install your switches (only for the heated seats) on the panel for the 700 series, it takes one minute!

The same panel you are talking about, in the 300 series, is also used in the same format in 850 and at least V/S40 volvos. Tough, the V/S40 volvos panel is dark-grey, not black.

And, you can of course go to your local volvo dealer, and buy the panel, and the switches. The panel and the switches shouldn't be too expensive, about 20€ each.... of course that's also a lot of money if you buy the whole thing. But what wouldn't you do to make your 300 series complete

i've got one in my car now, but duvel still hasn't sent me the other panel (or my alloy centre caps) so i cant swap it over and send it to him!

They aren't the same in a S/V40! Similar (maybe the same?) switches, but a different panel. That applies to the phase 1 x40. the phase 2/3 is totally different.

3/4/7/8/900s all use these panels. Other than that...nada.
