I have been looking and looking but no 300 spottings at all...and i live close to Frankfurt, one of Germanys largest cities... Only fun thing was: An older guy came along driving his 240 GLT and we met in a roundabout...I almost crashed and he too because we both were turning heads, trying to get a glimse of eachothers cars...

Last night Westbound on the M4 somewhere past Swindon spotted a dark coloured 300 with a smiley young black guy driving - anyone on here?

Saw 2 yesterday round here, one F plate white hatch with rear spoiler driven by a black haired lady 100 yds from Nicks house, other red (think it was on an H plate) in the Soton Odean cinema!

Saw 2 today, a red 5dr and a rather odd blue one, didnt spot 3/5dr because i was slightly distracted by the pink seats and flower stickers on the bumpers

i spoted 2 today

a red gl in non rusty but knocked about condition if u know what i mean.

and a blue 360 in the same condidion lol

i got told that they just run on forever so they dont bother looking after them...

well at least they are rolling and being used.

Yes it is shame that most of 300 series aren't looked after properly. Most of the 300s which i see almost daily are quite rusty, paint is oxidised?, and most of them are driven by elderly people. But i have seen couple almost mint ones. But neither are mine . But the older one of two which i have will be when i finish restoring it.

I regularly see one parked near my house - but I've never inspected it closely. I'll have a look tomorrow morning and report back with my findings!

It's a 340GL, I think.... G-reg. There's also D-reg 340GL sometimes parked nearby - and both cars look to be in pretty good nick.

I might make a couple of V3M cards to put under their wipers - might get them to join, or, if nothing else, they might be able to get a bit of info here if their cars develop problems!

Spotted one myself yesterday. Well my dad thought he spotted one parked by the side of the road, so when we were heading home again I had a quick glance and it was a 360 GLT hatch. I think it was black, or at least a dark colour, hard to tell from the quick glimpse, and it was parked in the shade.

whilst at the jamboree in essex i spotted a 360 gl (i think) in little baddow/danbury, looked pretty neat wen i was about 6ft up in a discovery!

G951VTY 5dr 340 in Kwik Fit in Sunderland yesterday. Looked quite tidy and black. Saw a silver 5dr on thursday too, on mackie's corner in Sunderland town centre. They seem to be a more and more common sight around here.

I've seen 5 or so on the island this week, one very very tidy!
