And the bonnet, damaged or not?

Any bits you still need Redline? I still have my old grill, and can get my coloured bumpers swapped over a bit quicker if you need a front black one

The bonnet has a slight mark on the leading edge, only other bit I might need is a 1.7 radiator (will just disconnect fan until I get one ), Pete has a black bumper. so hopefully i'm nearly sorted

Great news redline! Pete and his scrapyard eh
Hope to see it at the meet, a 1.7 radiator should be fairly easy to get hold of I'd imagine!

German and Swedish had my 1.4 rad in stock, about £40 (though that was about 2 years ago)

the radiator is almost 100% sure just off its mountings, try giving it a shove back in the right direction.

Hi Redline
If the rad is shot and you have no joy with secondhand parts, Euro car parts have them in at £72+VAT.
There is a branch just off the V4 Watling St. a couple of miles from you

checked today the centre core of the rad was pushed back onto the fan by the bumper iron the mountings are ok the rad is more mis shaped than damaged so I should be able to gently push the core forward to clear the fan and it will be ok I have driven the car since and there are deffinately no leaks, I would also like to take this opportunity to again thank Pete Farrell who true to his his word turned up at my house with all the bits last night thanks mate

have now managed to push the radiator core more or less back into shape and just to be on the safe side have put a couple of spacer washers between the fan bracket and front panel. ran her for a while until fan cut in and it all works fine. because of the damage to the front panel where the bumper bracket bolt on , I am having a bit of trouble lining the brackets up with the bumper bar . But with a bit of gentle persuaision

and a large hammer

and some colourful language

I a m sure I will get there in the end if it just stops raining for long enough

so i'm now a happy chap again

Oh I forgot to say , if anyone has a textured front bumper in black at the right price i might be interested , the one pete was kind enough to bring me is a smooth one from a 360glt and is great for now coz it means the car is usable again but i want to get it back to as near as original as poss (fussy bugger aint I ) I think chris_c said he may have one
