Hehe...ok...let's clear this up once and for all...
I live in Lincoln.
The car came from near Bedford, is now located in Bedford, and Pete/Chesh lives near Bedford.
I'm waiting to hear from the local chap how he feels about the welding & clutch situation.
cheers

I'm waiting for the logbook to come through in my name so that will delay any proceedings with shifting the car on.
If it is too much hassle to save the car, i'll just rip the leather out and the aircon parts and weigh the shell in for scrap.

Howdy folks,
Ok, an update...
Both our chap near Bedford and Shimon are game for having the car as-is. This could get awkward, so I think we need to go via timeline. Shimon made contact first, so strictly speaking I think he has first refusal.
However, the car does need to be gone in good time, as it can't stay where it's parked now indefinitely, so if you want it Shimon, I'd be ready to come and get it in a bit of a hurry. Getting it to the local chap will be easier, so when the time comes, don't give us any reason
I'll have a chat with Mr Chesh before too long and work out what we're going to do. I'd like to have a GLEi SE myself, as it's an 'interesting' model...but then I'd like a lot of cars, and definitely don't have the space for them all!
cheers
