Cheers for the info John, I think I'll be looking into it, as for the price that Uba found it seems quite reasonable, although it will include a lot of work, however so will bodging a rusty one! I think I'd rather replace it and know that it should be ok for a few years, especially as I intend keeping the car.

Blade hasn't replied since his original post...and I have a feeling that the shipping might be prohibitively expensive...although I hope that he does get in touch, as most of the original interest was from overseas.

I appriciate that others have said not til Jan, and you're good to go now, but that doesn't make much difference, as this is all going off in January anyway.

Already tried that with my missus mate , told her that waxing & polishing cars is great for toning muscles and losing weight , she didnt believe me though dont know why!!

I wonder why ? funny thing women , spend hours washing and waxing there , umm insert here part of female anatomy of your choice ,but won't do the car

Actually i haven`t been able to get in touch with the guy in the past days.
I just hope that i will soon,and that he will ship the parts soon as possible.
