Not much happened. Car has been working great.

All the steering joints were replaced couple weeks ago and couple bushings too at the same time.

New front fenders are finally gonna get painted.

I'm going to order aluminium interior mudguards from Lokari too which I'll install at the same time when I'll swap in the new fenders.

I picked up the painted fenders from this one Volvo enthusiast who knows a good vehicle painter. Guy's got an amazing white 245 Turbo built in 70's california surfer style and an original 240 GLT with all kinds of nice accessories. Also a near 400hp Audi S4 Turbo.
As my apartment doesn't have too much extra space I would've had to keep the fenders in the living room or at the balcony.. (I don't trust to store anything valuable at the shared cellar with chicken wire-style sections) Solution: I took the fenders to my parents house as I know how much they like to have all kinds of Volvo parts laying around...

Those came out pretty nice I think.

Much more shinier than they look in the pics, almost too nice compared to the rest of the car's paint.
I'm going to get my R-Sport steering wheel re-upholstered as it's almost worn through at few spots. One guy I know has a friend working at this place
http://www.kxd.fi/ so I should get a quite nice discount.
Edit: Old links at the older posts don't work anymore, I'll replace those soon.

New front wings have been in place for some time now. Color match couldn't be better even though the rest of the car's paint is a bit dull right now. I'll take some pics when I get some time to machine polish and wax the whole car.
edit: Updated the old links finally.

Hello
MOT time.. Well.. New inner sills required.

Time to welder booked @ next wednesday. I'll have to strip the interior before that so there's no fire risk.. I polished and waxed the car today, 2x with Autoglym Paint Renovator and one coat of Meguiars Gold Class wax. No machine polishing used. (Why can't I feel my hands?

) Came out pretty nice. I would've put on another coat of Meguiars but it was too dark so I'll have to do that tomorrow.
Dark pic, I'll take better ones tomorrow when there's more light.

i think the sunroof wind deflector makes it look like its going fast even when its standing still.
three doors do always look fast though.
i dont know why.

That sunroof wind deflector divides opinions quite a lot.

At first I wasn't sure either if I like it or not but then I started to like the OEM 80's styling even more so it stays. Car looks too much like a bath tub though without the OEM side skirts so I'll have to take pics when I've fitted those on the car again.
80's BBS-style mesh/honeycomb rims would look also very good but I've got some more important areas on the car to spend too much of my money before those..

(Stainless steel turbo exhaust manifold from Dai and MegaSquirt for starters might be next...

)

Window wind deflectors are available as aftermarket production parts though. I just don't remember the manufacturer or the site where those were availble. Weren't cheap though.
I've got one Volvo OEM window wind deflector though but I've not fitted it because only one window wind deflector would look stupid.
