Below..
Take a original car with double (or more) leafs as example. Blocks won't be a problem I think

Glad you guys like my discovery about the MR2 springs

which was a total accident.
Well my suspension is now fully sorted (If you are into drifting)
Front I have used MR2 springs with an extra pair of brand new bump stops supporting part of the weight. So front is rock hard.
Rear now has Land rover shocks and will have double leaf soon.

yeah, good shout dude!
i'll be getting me some MR2 springs next month. mines making an ominous creaking noise now (drivers side front). i think the lower 'cup' is in need of welding up (did the other side, now this side's playing up)
keep all the usefull 'other-car-parts-that-fit-a-volvo300' coming - all my bits are starting to rust through now :$

I have just got that same creaking dude... only hear it on low speed turning on mine, and only when winding lock on or off it seems. Need to investigate to see what it is, keep us informed if you find anything!

will do
im pretty sure its the suspension leg, i was under the car yesterday changing the oil (oh yes, i got round to it eventually) and the bottom cup on that side DID look a little brown and, well, see through...
need to get round to fixing it but for now im just driving slow and avoiding the pot holes

again.
Im definately gonna weld in some support struts this time tho (both sides) so i'll take some pics if i have any sucess with that. I'm probably gonna go buy some better legs first tho, rather than welding them up again
