RPM gauge problem is now solved, there was collision between background and needle, humidity and paper you know 'oops'

Hi 340vario

If it splutters to a halt it could be that the idle speed needs adjusting on the carb.

If its more of a sudden shut off it could be that the idle solenoid is playing up (quite a common problem on the 1.4)

Both are easiy to fix - post back if you need more help
