mate - take the cat out - it'll only be slowing you down. stick a straight-through exhaust in and you'll be onto a winner.

Well for the yearly checkup there has to be a Cat by law in my country. sm32
Theres a special U9 note in my car registation papers.

So like you telling here above.
I took myself a big metal pionted object and my Cat. sm45
And 15 min later was It all empty inside. sm40
so problem solved.
And a nice thundering sound when i ease off the gasspedal in the back exsuast. sm49

And with a std. B14 engine you noticed a difference? sm48
I never tryd it on my std. B14 engine so i don't know.

On my current engine setup my intire exsuast diameter is to small.
And i need a better exsuast manufault.
Something like 4/2/1 with some nice curves.
And the distance from the valves to where te pipes all come togetter has to be exsakly 80 cm.
And the construkion for te carb. has to fit.
So thats a costly custom job.
But i have to save some money for the moment becuase i am between jobs.
So thats for the next list of engine tuning.

nice! we get checks every year but only if your car was registered after 95, which no cars are, do you *have* to have a cat..
