I like the fact that it is absolutely bog standard apart from the roll cage and the stickers. Standard rims with what look like road tyres, boot carpet still there, tired looking engine.....

Be intresting to email him and ask how much hed take for it with the roll cage taken out and the stickers pulled off.

Does anyone know if he's had much joy in selling it?
800 aus dollars aint too far off the mark. I paid 1300 for my '86 GLT... and THAT was with knocking the sales guy down by 300

I just rang the guy, seems like a nice bloke!

Car was built for a charity rally w/the Kidney Car Club
-suspension-raised 3 inches
bottom end/top end rebuilt - cams, springs valves follows
4 point rollcage
Omex tripmeter
two way radio
4 speaker sound system w/SUBWOOFER MOIT
pranged sploiler

rego 12 months

clutch, gearbox not touched
slack in gearshift

Used once for racing

I said how much do you want for it? He said name a price, I said $4K as a guess, he said if I paid $4.1K I could have the other 360 sitting in his backyard!! I said, no worries but I already got one of them!

What ya think??

so he only rebuilt the engine to stock specs??? anywhoo It probably got a good beating wherwever it was raced.

Tell him he's dreaming!!!!!
