Flip the turbo so the exhaust is at the front, make a new 180degree downpipe and work out some way to get an air feed into it?

that's not a solution in my eyes, the intake will get too much heat from the exhaust twisting it's way everywhere and the turbo exhaust housing because the turbo got flipped..
i was thinking about not letting the intake side of the turbo facing the grille, but modifiing the manifold to get it facing the right headlight. this way, i may get enough angle on the turbo to stay clear of the headmaster cylinder. and still keep a small manifold.
