Cheers mate, thanks :-) There's a black plastic thingy which goes between the belt housing (erm, the part where the seat belt rolls up in) and the C-pillar - it keeps the housing at the right angle when you're putting the bolts in, if you could save that piece, that'd be great too ...

*Bulb holder for behind the light switch (same as behind the heater controls and behind ashtray, but a lot easier to get too)
*Bulb holder for windscreen washer switch (same as hazard/rear screen heater/rear fog switch bulb holders as I don't think a 340 of this age will have that...)
*Heated seat rocker switch (whole panel if its going would be great, again if the car has it).
*Hazard switch complete with plug and 6" of loom

Cheers dude
i have removed these now if u still want them pm me and we'll get them posted asap

bloody neighbours :-(

I'd be interested in a heater valve (Haynes calls it a "water cock" I think  ), and a rear seat belt (left or right, doesn't matter) if you've got time to remove them and post ...

Tom
can u explain where the heater valve is please then i can get it out for u

On a 340 it's inside the heater box AFAIK. I'll get a pic from the parts catalogue if it helps ...

The part itself should look like this:

Tom, do you want the hot water controlling "tap"? If so, thats a black inline valve with a bowden cable going to it just above the bellhousing on the 2 pipes going into the bulkhead.

Have pm'd you about my bits dude

There are two different part codes for the valve in VADIS... so they may be quite different depending on model year.
3297723 up till chassis 089537
3211645 CH# 089538 on

Too bad the catalogue seems to have only one sort of picture for it.

Yes, I saw the different part numbers, and hoped ovlov's might be the right one, as it looks like an earlyish MkIII ... Chris, you're right, that's where the valve is placed on my 360 too, but on my 343 there's no sign of it (or the cable controlling it) in the engine bay, so I figured it was probably in the heater box ...

Here's the location of it from the 80 - '84 parts manual:

EDIT: control valve 1 in red, control valve 2 in blue

I just had another look at the parts books, there are three different types of heater control valve:

3269730-2 CH -347999 (the early brown daf dash by the looks of it)
3297723-3 1980 - 1985 CH -089537 (up to August / September (?) 1985?)
3211645-1 (3209861-8) CH 089538- (mid '85 on)

and then there's a second type of control valve 3275263-6 fitted from CH 348000- to 1984 (circled in blue in the above pic)- just to confuse things a bit ;-)

If it's that easy to get to, it may be the wrong one, on mine you can't access it without taking the heater box apart. But I'll take it off your hands anyway, it'd be good to have a spare for the 360!
