Hi Dan,

I've got a couple of mk2 grilles - both GLS and GLT.

Window trim is chrome.

Valances...the GLS is very rusty. The GLT...I'll have to have a look under the lip spoiler, but I think it'll be rusty.

cheers

James

Cheers James,

Chrome is ok as long as its in good condition as i can spray it up, just that mine has cracked and looks terrible.

James, do any of the cars have a Volvo radio in them? You know, the non-DIN kind which won't fit in any other kind of car ;-)

No need to fight! :D It's not the tailgate that I want, only the wiring from the tailgate (for the wiper and third brake light) to the fuse box and the rear wiper switch. And the hoses too of course... Too much work maybe? Just tell me!

That's not a problem Aymat. If it's too deeply embedded in the car loom, we might have to cut it at the ends...but you can always extend the same-coloured wires to join up. We'll do what we can, though.

Yes, the '88 GLT has an old radio (of the vintage of the GLS), curiously. All yours...

cheers

You're not alone ;) I think the ones I pulled off that GLEi SE would have been from the 1983 GLT which donated most of its running gear...so that makes a set for each of us ;)

cheers

Radio station presets? If you could check the code of the radio (CR-*** RS-***** ) that'd be great!

Do GLT driveshafts differ to GLE/GLS ones?

foggyjames wrote:I think all the heater valves are the same...but sure.
The angles at which the pipes enter the valve may be different, check this post:

Injected 360s (B19E / B200E) got different driveshafts to the rest. No idea why, or what the difference is, though!
