Probably less than you want for one
I reckon 50 quid posted is the top end of fair, I paid 60 for a full kit some time back and when I posted you that 1.4 bellhousing it only cost a tenner (I seem to remember giving you a good price on that

)
However I am obviously over a barrel here so if you can get one to me this week I might be generous.

i shall check the condition of the couple in the shed, as i know one is in a million pieces with a fubar'd bearing

i'll get back to you with any luck

I only need the front half really as I have a mint back half with bearing. Either way is good though. I'll PM you my number and if you could get back to me today I can Paypal you asap. It'll have to be texts though as phones aren't allowed on the production line.

I can tell you a VERY funny story about the bloke there.
It's true - there are probably about 200 scrap volvo's there

and plenty of 300's as well

My mate (years ago) tried to haggle with the old boy on the price of a front wing for a 740. The bloke...cool as a cucumber... took the wing, and threw it in the river at the bottom of the yard.
(apparently, you don't haggle with him)
I was almost tempted to tell him I wanted a whole car - then haggle - then watch him push it all the way into 'the drink'.
Rinse and repeat!
I think it's his son that runs it now, but I don't know anyone who's been there recently. I drive past it EVERY day, and it's certainly 'well stocked'.

Does anyone have a number for this volvo paradise of miles-away-ness? Are they open on Sundays? I'll actually frigging well go all the way there if they have one.

Most probably will. Never been able to track down a number/website for it. Just go down on a Saturday and I'm sure it will be open

That's an amazing offer mate! The only problem is I don't know when another one will come up

There are literally no 300s in breakers around here, so it'd be a case of me paying for one to be shipped to you when I found one. Or giving you the money for one you find yourself if you happen across one?

Last night I was arm twisted into getting a breaker 1.7... so I *should* have one in the next week or three if it goes through.

Awesome, DIBS!
Adam can you PM me with a price and to arrange shipping 'n' that? I'll sort some paypal cash in the meantime if that's convenient.
