Oh dear Mark, I'm really really sorry ... Vandalism is one of the most under-punished (don't know if that's the right word?) crimes in my opinion ...

My daily GLi has a long key-scratch all the way along the side, made way back some time in 2004 but it still makes me angry every time I look at it.

Oh dear, that's a real shame. People can be so callous.

Why don't you post a few pictures of your car post-louver - I'm sure it still looks great.

Oh man...that's nasty. It's that kinda thing which keeps the really, really rare stuff tucked away in the house and not left outside. :(

I don't mean to sound like a vulture...but are the fitting clips still there, and would you be willing to part with them?

cheers

James

That picture has been used muchly this week dude

Do you still have the bits Mark? I'm horribly tempted to say I'd give moulding one a go, but at my rate of project progression nothing much would be seen until all 300's have rusted to the ground. Seems a shame to just throw them though

I would be willing to have a mold made of mine...but...they're very, very weak, so we'd have to be careful. A reproduction in fibreglass would be no weaker.

I could wax the crap out of it, then start doing it in sections...

cheers

James

there are 3 different types of louvres (saloon, mk3hatch, mk1/2hatch), i don't know if you allready had this in mind but it is worth checking before reproduction :)

and it's a pain in the ass part to reproduce too actually
