Re: rear wheel bearing... any solutions?

I'd like to strip down the rear hubs for cleaning and re-painting (mainly the drum back).
I've seperated an old hub that had a knackered bearing (83 360 GLS), but part of the bearing came out with it, the outer part that has the wheel studs on it. Perhaps this the glued bit.
Am I going to have the same problem with the 87 bearing, ie they are not dissassembleable so that you can rebuild them without renewing the bearing? I do have an actual Volvo bearing that was bought for the 83 car, but couldn't use it in the end and got a replacement scrap hub for that car. Mind you they could have given me the later bearing.
