Has ANYONE in the entire history Of the Internet ever bought anything on the advice of a spam posting????!!!
It seems like a complete waste of time and effort even bothering.
You might as well just shout at people out of a window.
'BUY CHEAP PLAYSTATION 3!!!'
shuddup you mentalist. And shut that window.

Has anyone put an ip ban on these guys? You could use some updated phpbb mods which would stop spammers signing up. There's some rather clever stuff out at the moment.

I'm pretty sure that there is such persons, I mean there are even people that buy stuff from tv-shop channel too, so certainly there have to be such type of idiot that falls to spammer's trap too.
Mum's not so bright friend bough steam ironing thing from tv-shop and burned her husband with hot steam while demonstrating how handy it is, can iron clothes when wearing them, there was 0% of common sense in that person and there are more like her in a wild causing mayhem to every and anything.

Spams... A real lovestory!
I will (again.....) try and add some antispam patches, how boring! Damn I can't imagine the result without any protection, the forum would be FULL of spams...

Without any protection, I think that we would not be able to access board anymore as place would be so crowded of spammers that not even all spammers would be able to squeeze in.
I have found THE ultimate solution to spam, it only requires few UK members to spend one afternoon to smuggle one of these to NL :
He should be able to keep unwelcome ones out from here
