Try
http://www.shiply.com/ as couriers/transport companys bid the best price from and to a specific location.
I'm not 100% sure it's still definitely there, but for anyone really interested I'm sure I can check.

Next months wages should have some bank holiday goodness attatched, but not much.
If it could move for 100, and be taken for 100, Id have it. think thats asking a bit much though.
I'll measure the yard anyway. See if itll fit and leave room to get donstairs bins out.

It wants to be indoors really.
I'd like to see something useful come of the car, so I'm more in favour of a trip to Newc'astle than I am a part-out (plus it's less effort!). If you'd let me cannibalise a few bits and bobs for my 85 car (things which can be obtained in due course...and it's going nowhere soon), I'm sure we can come to an arrangement, cost-wise. We'll have a chin-wag after the weekend
cheers

Yeah...sorry...my post was a bit confused. John has mumbled about having my 83 car...but I think he's probably thinking twice now he's seen the Rugby one! A matching pair oop north (in the same unit!) would be epic.
The round trip is approximately 425 miles. That puts the fuel alone at around £120-130 (unless I'm rocking the LPG by then), plus trailer hire. I can probably split that with other jobs, but it's still going to be £150 or so.
cheers

Well, we'll get our heads together then and see what can be done.

I'll dig through my emails and find out whether I still have the contact details for the Rugby car. If I can't and you're seriously interested I can make a trip out (I remember where it is) as I'm often near Coventry anyway.
