The people of Greece are going on general strike and their country is bankrupt!
I cant see what they hope to achieve.

Its not like the government can 'give in' to them and not be bankrupt.

And Finland is giving 1.6 billion dollars to Greek.. Like we wouldn't have our own problems to cover with that money. Finland is taking loan with lower rates than they are giving loan to Greek so in that way it's profitable if Greek can pay back someday but for some reason I'm not convinced at all that Greek is going to pay back the loan...

Some weeks ago a children's rheumatism hospital was closed because there was no public funding available. Few million dollars or something would have kept the hospital in business but public sector said that there's no money.. Still we seem to have billions of dollars to spend on some foreign country of which government have lied about their economic situation for many years and ran down their economy by themselves with loose money politics...

Same as us in the UK dude.
We have no money to employ nurses or cleaners to operate a safe and clean National Health Service, but weve certainly got Hundreds of Billions of pounds to upgrade our nuclear submarnie fleet, create a new intercontinental ballistic missile system and wage two stupid fruitless wars.

Strange how they seem to find enough money to do that, but not enough to care for the people coming back with arms and legs missing.
Thats left to charities.
Help The Heroes does great work, but its a shame there isnt enough money for the government to do the job that the charities are.

Big problem seem to be that left arm has no idea what right is doing and frankly it does not even care.

So instead of having pot of money they make artificial shares and can't even think about putting money from one thing to another thing, it is really stupid system, there is zero flexibility.

Imo, government should step in and make these strikes stop, or at least limit them so that there would be no shortage of food supplies.

About Greece, I think clever greece are playing with us, that country has world's largest merchant fleet, 2100 ships I think it was, country is visited huge amount of tourists every year etc. they certainly would have also art etc. for worth of quite big part of sum they are now receiving, certainly normal people will lose all their possessions in difficult times, why Greece should be different? Also it is quite bad example to other nations, when one is allowed to act that way and then rewarded with loans instead of kicking out from playing with own rules, even greece people would like to disband EU, kick it out and it is no more dragging EU down. Of course it would be quite bad for greece people, who would not understand that either, but hey, it is what they want, let them have it

I just think that people are silly, only 100 years ago life was lot more of struggling as it is now, but already people are willing to sacrifice all the luxury by not accepting small reductions to what they do have.
