That's the one indeed. That black car seemed to have a wild cat living inside or underneath it, but the rims could easily be shot blasted and brought back to rude health. They are all pretty rotten having been parked on grass, and the Ardennes are known for their dry climate aren't they?? Those cars outside are knackered now, and well beyond redemption. But the 340 in the workshop looks good as a work in progress, as do the 240's in the showroom. He must have more than shown here [and there are indeed more 340's parked the other side of the petrol station], as the premises are pretty big and appear given over to storage only.

Wow. That's a real shame, all those just sitting there, maybe he's waiting for MK1 + 2's to fetch serious money then he can sell em all off as "barn-finds" etc, or maybe he's just using them all for parts... who knows?
I've never ever seen that horizontal wiper system on anything else , anyone have any more info?

they've been standing outside like that for about 20 years..... the guy won't even sell a wheelnut, even the interior is far beyond decent restauration.
horizotal wipers was the way they were mounted on MY76 and MY77 cars, the blue 343 that's in the volvo museum @ goteburg has them in working order

I was just looking through the thread here and spotted my car!
It's the one taken by mickt on the bottom of page 8, parked by the grand union canal in MK! He looks pretty good there

"Metal" and "in eye" sounds pretty painful! Hope you get better soon ...

Tell me you were wearing goggles whilst grinding dude... I've seen a horrific trend in people not recently. On the plus side, I know a couple of the doctors in Bournmouth, you'll be ok
I reckon that's a late GL spec, GLE seats, leccy windows and mirrors per chance?
