Gettig better and better.

More pics of the archs.... painted in black!

They aren't painted mate and won't be either, just "back to blacked" them instead. No way i'm spending the time to sand them all down, buying expensive plastic primer and painting them! All that money and effort could be used on super dish wheels instead :D i've contacted someone that does CNC machining incase I can get some CAD models manufactured so might end up with custom spacers meaning I could even design them to go to 5stud

Lookin real good mate...... what the arches from...... i had a little play with some golf g60 arches but they were in bits so not that succesful

I have rolled the rear arches on mine kind of... Borrowed a proper roller from a friend but because of diff being welded makes it a lot harder... plus the 300 arches are not a full semi circle.

Didnt touch the front as they look fairly structural as you say and they hold the inner arch / lining as well

Hehe, Ali showed me some pics as he was doing this on Friday, I love it!!! Beaten me to it as well... I've been waiting for one of those barryied protons to appear in my scrappy to try archs from! Nice one mate, looks sweet.

Nice to see you back mate! No discount as I'm not making profit though!

Small update, hydro handbrake installed, scarily powerful! No effort at all, just lift it about 5cm and locks em up instantly!

Really nice having it a bit further forwards too as I don't have to reach back for it and makes gears/handbrake and steering all nice and close. Car is now insured so been driving it about a bit and my god its stupidly loud!! haha, hopefully going to brum wheels tomorrow or Friday, looking like its going to be Friday though, shall update with pics and video as i've made a mount inside the car and bought a capture card to transfer it all onto the computer after :D

I found out how useless Fake's handbrake was last Thurs, as I tried to make my way round a 180 on a rally. Absolutely nothing, saved meself by using the clutch ;)

Looking forward to the vid mate, just don't make the classic mistake and try and show off for the camera, theres a reason that most footage has a crash in it... Just forget its there!

Yeah, the handbrake will hopefully help my poor clutch last a bit longer as I won't have to abuse it so much! Mine would lock in the wet fine and fairly well in the dry but required a lot of force, should just make it a lot nicer now due to the locations and force required. I know what you mean about the camera but tbh, the car is always past the limit, I don't think I could try harder so i'm always at risk of crashing anyway lol, my mate had his camera inside and outside the car last time and that was fine, seem to just be able to strap the helmet on and forget about everything haha, probably cursing myself by saying that!

A few video's from yesterday, last one was done on a phone. Brilliant day out, perfect weather, only complaints were some debris left on the track, managed to hit part of a hub left there which ripped off a skirt mount and my exhaust mount  ended up with it hanging less than an inch from the floor so tied it up with rope for the drive home haha

Also couple of pics, really weird how the numberplate came out...

Great to get a spin in it, feels very smooth when sideways :D The thing seems to be coping well with the abuse too ;)

Bloody hard to get pics in the light and movement, mine didn't come out too good atall :(
