BTW, what's a GLE hatch? Looks like a GLT without the alloys and the matt black bits. Over here, GLE's were only sold as top-notch saloons, 360 hatches were either GL GLi or GLT.
Back to the colour (sorry for the thread hijack), this one's described as "scottish green", it's a GL

Ah, now that car looks about the right colour!
A GLE hatch is almost identical to a GLT, but with a carb engine (and a few fewer toys...no alloys, for example).

funnily enough the mk2 golf was produced in a similar colour .

It looks like a design which Volvo rejected...now that's burn
Nice motor though...and where it deserves to stay, rather than heading for a 205!
