Yes, I'd spotted that and had to do a double-take for a moment!

Black interior trim like my '81 Mk 1, don't see that very often, same seats as well. Steering wheel and door pulls older type though. Wonder why they used the older ones on the same year car.

It's because it's an L model, which wasn't sold in the UK. L models carried on up to and including model year 1982 (I think), and still has early steering wheels and black vinyl door cards.

My old car has come up for sale again. Asking price is 3000€, it comes with lots of spares. According to the seller, a further 2000€ has been spent on it since, it now also has electronic ignition (123 ignition from dafhobby) and a new starter motor and generator. I haven't seen the car in a while, but I suspect it's been kept in good condition over the past 2 years.
