Steve, it's a bit rich that you have chosen to moan about the meet given that you didn't turn up even though you had an offer of a FREE lift down and back and chose to go off buying bits for your girly car instead.........

Hey - I did try and buy a GLT the week before, but it turned out to be a bit scruffier than I'd hoped

I'm not really moaning about the date - I just think a national event should be 'in season', particularly when it involves camping. Surely that must make sense to more than just me?!

Engine skates

Nice pics Speedy. I didn't see those engine skates, they look exciting!

Cheers all for a great meet, it was really good to meet up with old friends, meet new members, see a different part of the world, and on what must have been one of the nicest weekends of the year!

Those skates weren't that prominently displayed, but were uber cool. Invented in 1942, the MoD even considered them and did some testing with them.

Top work on making the meet has to go to Mickt as well, it was good to see you.

Whoever booked the weather must take most of the credit, but cheers to everyone else as well! Foggy on failures, Chris, Rupert and anyone I've missed, it was a great weekend!
