Here are a small selection of some of my pictures from the weekend. Thank you to everyone who was involved in organising such a great weekend, and especially to Mac for all his efforts - the V3M and Suffolk/Essex stands were very nicely done.
I came home with a bootfull of parts, and a mission to fix my poorly vario (see technical section).
I'd love to have had a better look around TWO 400Y, I had a 5 min look in the morning but then the world became hectic It looked a really really nice car from my first looking over of it!
I did find it amusing that the winner and runner up in the 300's class both belonged to V3M'ers, and not beardies.
Congrats to SteveP and Andy (Helldriver) for 1st and 2nd respectively.

Plus Steve just bought his car in that condition, there's no chance he's worked on it!
(ok, congratulations from me too )
In fact both cars were both bought like that At least I've had to repair the radiator and now might have a water pump to change (although I think thats fixed itself after a run!).
It is bit unfair to to compare daily cars with those that might only do 1000 miles or less a year, but I suppose judging is already lengthy enough without having separate juding for daily/non daily in each class.
In my defense, I do at least manage to do few more thousand in the GL which I did put in the show 2 years ago.
Did anyone have a count up of 300's, I made it 17, must be a record in recent years?
Sod off Chris, I bought some new wheels, new tyres and spent the whole of Saturday cleaning it - the engine bay was an absolute state There aint much else wrong with it, so it hasn't needed any real work yet anyway Besides, why would I daily it - you should see the V40 Dekay would be proud. Absolutely agreed - I could never keep a daily like this! So perhaps I've been a beardy polisher, but what the heck - it's the only car I've ever owned that warrants it
